Who’s Behind the Lens?

Hi! My name is Erin, I am 22 years old. I grew up in Cedar City, Utah and have been married for 3 years. I enjoy driving up through the many canyons in Utah and trying new food! I have recently become obsessed with playing Spike Ball and if you haven't heard of it you need to check it out! I have recently started a 30 day yoga challenge and I'm also trying to cut out sugar from my diet, which if you knew me, you would know how difficult this is for me, as I love dessert! Music is a big part of my life, so if you have a favorite song or artist, I would love to know. I am always looking for new music. I love board games and often play during family get togethers. Some of my favorites are: Sushi go party, 7 wonders, Carcassonne, and any face card game! What are your favorites?

Growing up I wanted to be many things, I went from wanting to be anything from a veterinarian to a chef. After sticking with my chef dream throughout high school I decided to go to UVU for culinary school. After a semester of that, I did what most people do and changed my major. I switched to hospitality management as I thought it sounded interesting to run a hotel. As you can guess I decided against that and took a break from school altogether to figure out  my long-term goals. While on my break from school I worked for a Boutique at their corporate office, I loved my job and pretty good at it! After a few months I felt I needed to go back to school so I started seriously asking myself, ‘what it my passion’? Luckily I got the idea of buying a camera for when I go on hikes or when I'm traveling. This is where I discovered my love for photography! 

Getting into photography can be hard work but being able to make my clients happy and have them truly enjoy their pictures makes it worth the effort. I think the main thing that drew me into making this a business was that I get to constantly try out and learn new things. I am always looking forward to my next photo shoot. So if you're looking for some fun new pictures I would love to talk to you and schedule a shoot! Weather I'm taking couples pictures or just nature pictures, I'm loving every minute. I’m at my happiest and best when behind a camera, and when you can find that in a career… you stick with it!
